BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Established cross-functional processes to develop Application Guardrails for key ingredients and nutrients to ensure scientific rigor, safety considerations, and regulatory and risk assessments​ for the purpose of timely, accurate and safe products and claims (reduce miscommunications and costly changes).  

  • Initiated and led the development of mandatory training for R&D employees to be accountable and responsible (minimize risk for errors) for product safety and accuracy 

    • Collaborated with Manufacturing and Operations to implement training​

  • Partnered with Sales to develop stronger relationships with key accounts and provide credibility for Top to Top discussions.

    • ​Developed Sales and Customer (Nutrition) Relations Program to support Sales and Marketing; established relationships with customer health and wellness leaders and programs (including development of educational materials).

  • Successfully raised role and impact of scientific affairs, research, communication and regulatory affairs to strategic partners for sales, marketing and product development resulting in greater alignment and integration of health and wellness into all platforms and strategies.

    • Reorganized Scientific, Nutrition and Regulatory Affairs department structure to be more integrated with business strategic planning and innovation.

  • Brought new products and product claims to market by driving functional engagement with the Innovation and Stage Gate processes.  

  • Successfully developed a high-functioning team and provided a new style of leadership to emphasize innovation and commercial partnerships.

  • Media-trained, have appeared in media segments for TV and Internet broadcasts as wells as interviews for video and print journalism to support marketing, PR and brands.
